35 Burdens Road

Welcome to 35 Burdens Road — a turn-key Eastport log home built for memory-making. Set on a generous lot moments from one of Newfoundland's most beloved beach communities, this character-rich log bungalow offers approximately 2,000 sq ft of finished living space across two levels. Step inside to a wide-open great room featuring soaring tongue-and-groove vaulted ceilings, a dramatic floor-to-ceiling river-rock fireplace with wood-stove insert, and walls of windows pouring natural light over warm hardwood floors. The kitchen and dining flow seamlessly to a covered front porch and a generous rear deck — perfect for morning coffee, summer suppers, or watching the bay light up at sunset. The main floor is anchored by a true primary retreat: a 19' x 13' bedroom with walk-in closet and spa-style 4-piece ensuite. A 2-piece powder room and main-floor laundry round out the level. Downstairs delivers serious flexibility — three more bedrooms, a full 4-piece bath, separate family and rec rooms, and a mudroom entry. Plenty of room for kids, grandkids, in-laws, or paying guests. Outside, the lot opens to fields and tree line with sweeping views over the village and Bonavista Bay beyond. You're minutes from Eastport Beach, Salvage, Terra Nova National Park, hiking trails, restaurants, and the boat launch. Year-round family home. Low-maintenance retirement nest. Four-season cottage. High-performing short-term rental in one of the East Coast's strongest tourism markets. 35 Burdens Road delivers on all four. Don't just visit Eastport — live here.
