By accessing or using mihome.ca ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and account holders.

2. Description of Service

mihome.ca is a free, mobile-first home-search platform that displays real estate listing information sourced from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) via its Data Distribution Facility (DDF). The Service provides an alternative search and discovery interface and links back to Realtor.ca for complete listing details.

Listing data is provided for informational purposes only and should be independently verified. mihome.ca does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing data.

3. Account Registration

Creating an account requires only a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access. You may delete your account at any time via the account settings page.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest listing data
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications

5. Third-Party Listings and Links

The Service displays listing data from CREA's DDF and may contain links to third-party websites. mihome.ca is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sources. All listings are subject to the terms of the originating listing brokerage.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. mihome.ca does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mihome.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
